Commercial Wildlife Solutions

We integrate advanced K9 technology, strategic trapping, and environmentally responsible methods to provide practical, long-term solutions for wildlife and pest challenges. South Coastal is committed to ethical, science-driven management for residential, commercial, and government clients.

At South Coastal, we harness the extraordinary power of our federally certified detection dogs, whose sense of smell is over 100,000 times more sensitive than a human’s. Trained to detect rodents, invasive species, and a variety of different wildlife or pest species, our canines efficiently cover large areas with remarkable accuracy, minimizing the need for harmful chemicals and promoting safer, more sustainable solutions.

We minimize pesticide use by combining technology with canine techniques, ensuring tailored and environmentally responsible pest and wildlife management solutions. Our commitment to excellence ensures we provide tailored programs to meet your pest and wildlife management needs.

  • Canine Rodent Detection & Abatement

We use rodent detection canines, aka ‘ratters', to locate and abate rodent infestations. Ratting dogs are widely considered to be the most environmentally friendly, humane, and efficient method of exterminating rodents. Rodent Canines  are used worldwide to help eliminate rodents
    infestations.

  • Invasive Species

An invasive species is a non-native organism that causes ecological or economic harm in a new environment. Second only to deforestation, invasive species are the most significant threat to world biodiversity. South Coastal provides safe and humane removal of green iguanas and trapping feral swine.

  • Wildlife Detection

We specialize in wildlife detection programs for educational and institutional settings, including schools, universities, nature centers, and public facilities. Our federally certified detection dogs can identify a variety of wildlife species, supporting research, conservation, and awareness initiatives. We offer flexible scheduling with monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, one-time, and event-based inspections. Customized pre- and post-survey assessments are also available to support curriculum development and habitat monitoring.
